So only had the new car two days and already found some software issues.
Issue 1: Car does not save any radio favourites, you click on the star it saves them but when you leave the car and then come back no favourites are saved and you just get static.
Issue 2: The My Audi app requires you to give privacy permission on the MMI, so you do this, but as above leave the car and it stops working and the app asks you to give permission on the MMI, go back and its turned off, turn it back on it works, lock the car and then it has not saved and you keep going round and round.
Issue 3: Audi UTR App, you setup in the car, all works but you guessed it, lock the car app stops working, go back to the car and then it works, close the car and it stops working despite it being setup correctly.
Hopefully Audi will get an update out quickly.

Did you join the data-plan?
As far as I know (in NL), new cars are delivered with a temporary dataplan which ends within the first week after the car is delivered.
In that time, you can join the Audi dataplan. I got 3GB per month for free (I believe for a duration of 18 months) with Vodafone. This probably varies per country.
So when the demo-dataplan stops, your own plan is activated.
The settings you save are connected to your account, which needs an active dataplan.
No dataplan, no settings in your account.
I had some similar issues in the first few days, but after a week (with an activated dataplan) all was (and still is) fine.

In the app, there are items (indicated red) that "need" your attention.
One of them can be that your account is not set up completely yet.
There is sequence of things to take care of. One of them is setup of the data plan.
As mentioned earlier, I'm living in NL, but I expect that the "experience" for UK customers is similar.

Hi all.
Collected my new Q6 on Saturday.
Issue as above really, with the addition of when I select the "App and smartphone packages" option within the app, i get the error that says, "To use this function, you have to be the key user of the vehicle".
I am already the key user and I have an email from Audi saying as such.
Did anyone else have this issue, and if so, how did you/Audi resolve it?

Have you logged on in the vehicle ? , It took several visits to the dealer and a software update before I was able to do this , but after that things started working.
But welcome to a vehicle with software issues that the dealers say "we cannot defend anymore" , I am sure you will find more issues over the next few weeks that
you would not expect to find on a premium make like this...

About a month after I took delivery , took them that long to figure out the problem I had from day one. Would therefore have been late October / early November.
The app is showing a new software update is due now , but don't feel inclined to risk it...

App worked and has stopped again so thats not sorted, pile of junk the app is.
