Q6 - Timed Charging Issues

Hi all,
anyone having issues with the timed charging feature on the Q6? Immediate charging works fine so nothing wrong with my charger but the timed charging, which I try to use overnight for cheap electricity, doesn't work. I have the charging window set and I've tried it with and without a set departure time but no joy either way. The app (when it works!!) tells me that the car is "waiting for timer" so all looks good but then never actually charges.

I can set the timing on my actual charger , which is is smart charger that links to the app , but the app is not fit for purpose !. The charger gets incorrect info from the car and always shows as zero per cent charge !
The app when charging starts always shows "will be fully charged in less than one minute" . Like you I charge overnight for a cheap rate , I achieve this by setting the charger to only work from midnight to 5 am , so when I plug the car in during daytime hours it does not start charging but shows an error , but does start charging ok when the charger kicks in.

Unfortunately I've had my home charger for a few years (pervious car was an A6 plug in hybrid) and its a "dumb" one, i.e. no option to set timing on it. Would cost me about £800 to replace it so am relying on the car's own timing feature

To be honest, the app is rubbish, it has so many flaws and issues, I reported a major flaw in the app 2-3 months ago and all i get every Thursday is they are looking into the issue.

Would have more resect if they said they can not be bothered as thats how it feels.

If you buy the car to use the app service your going to have issues and be disappointed.
